Paris

Journal Entry: July 16

Good Morning! After breakfast, we enter the buses because we are going to France. We stop in Dijon for lunch. After that, we go to Paris, which is more than 300 kilometers away. So, I sleep on the bus on the way. We arrive at the hotel, and have dinner in a local cafe. After dinner, we take a boat ride on the Seine River. It's a beautiful view! I see the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Musee D'Orsay, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Statue of Liberty. (It's a gift to the United States from France).

The journal entries in the French-speaking countries were originally written in French.

For lunch, we did stop in Dijon, famous for its mustard. Since there are no good pictures, and nothing really to talk about in the city, I did not create a separate page for it. It was quite a long ride to Paris. On our way, we started to work on our bus song. Each bus created a song that they would perform in our last stop on the tour.

We finally arrive in Paris. As I said, we ate at a local cafe, because dinners at the hotels were not as good as the cafe dinners. After the meal, we boarded the boat for a cruise on the Seine. Here, we saw some of the great sites of Paris at sunset.
